A usenet group would be of no use to me, I can only get access to E-Mail and
ftp. So I like the things the way they are.
Actually I would like to see a little more messages on this list, I seem to
check my mail every hour or so, Id also like to see more Lightwave specific
questions, but I don`t mind with the other problems brought up here like the
file transfer methods between PC/Mac/Amiga/unix as its related to most users
of Lightwave.
I`d also like to see a little more open discussion on Lightwave, with people
sharing idea`s and actual LIGHTWAVE files! for example, the Sparks Preview,
why did no-one think to do a simple sparks demo scene and upload it to the
list, so all Lightwaves could test it, and see the results? A great way
to promote a product like Sparks.
And how many users here subscribe to Video Toaster, and Lightwave Pro?
If everyone here subscribes to Lightwave Pro (I don`t as yet) then we should
have more open disussions about methods and tips in there, at least John Gross
can get an idea on what the Lightwave users want to read, and what specific
area`s they have problems with. I here Lightwave Pro is an excellent magazine,
although slightly on the thin side? I don`t know, I`ve not seen it, and with
the problems I get with my Subscription to AVID, I don`t know wether to bother
ordering it.
I subscribed to AVID in November last year and have only recieved April and May
issues so far, my may issue just arrived!
Steve.
